Home Fitness Secret to Sculpted Triceps and Shoulders by Morris County NJ Personal Trainer
Morris County NJ Celebrity Personal Trainer, Fitness Boot Camp Coach and Dream Body Workout Expert Carey Yang demonstrates a superset workout for upper body muscles to shape up front shoulders and triceps.
Superset workout:
- Dumbbell Shoulder Front Raise
- Dumbbell Triceps Kickback
Shoulder and triceps are relatively small muscle groups. They tend to be overworked from Chest Press and Triceps Press compound exercises and their variations.
For single-joint isolation exercises like shoulder front raise and triceps kick, use moderate weight and keep good form. Focus on muscle contraction in each repetition. Dumbbell shoulder front raise and triceps kickback are an excellent pair of exercises to do together as a superset routine.
My version of dumbbell front shoulder raise starts from the sides and behind in neutral grips (palms facing each other toward body). As you raise the weight (straight arms slightly bent elbows) uppward toward front rotate your elbows inward and meet at mid point and eye levels with pinky sides slightly higher. The movement path and elbow rotation is more friendly to your clavicular joints around your shoulder girdle and more focusing on the contraction of front shoulder at the top position.
In the triceps kickback make sure you keep your upper arms close to your body and keep them as high as possible. Use proper weight so that you squeeze your triceps at the top position.
Strategically shaped shoulders and toned triceps really bring up the overall muscular shape of upper body and make you look really nice buffed toned.

Sculpt Tight Tush Fast with the Best Butt-Busting Exercise by Celebrity Fitness Trainer
Morris County NJ Celebrity Personal Trainer and Dream Body Workout Expert Carey Yang demonstrates a butt-busting exercise to tighten your butt, firm up your glutes and hamstrings, strengthen your lower back and core.
This is a combination of one-legged deadlift with back kick. Deadlifts are great for your hamstrings, butt and lower back. This one-legged version is a great way to add intensity to the exercise and engage your stabilizer muscles to keep your body balanced. Form is critical and you should skip this exercise if you have any back problems.
Take one leg back just a bit, lightly resting on the toe. With the weights in front of the thighs, bend from the hips and lower the weights as low as your flexibility allows. Keep your back flat or with a natural arch. Make sure you contract your abs, keep your core tight, to protect the back. At the T-pose stance, do a back kick with the same leg while keeping your balance on the other leg. Squeeze the glutes of the working leg to raise back up. Do 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps for each side.

Fat Blasting Outdoor Workout for Chiseled Chest and Inner Pec Muscles
Morris County NJ Personal Trainer and Dream Body Workout Expert Carey Yang demonstrates an outdoor workout to help you develop chiseled chest muscles with emphasis on upper and inner pectoral muscles.
With a resistance band or tubing, step forward into lunge stance. Keep your arms straight but elbows slight bent. Pull the band from behind in low position forward then make a 'fly" or arc move slightly upward toward the center about your mid chest height. Imagine you're hugging someone with your arms move around in circle. Contract or squeeze your inner upper chest muscles together to hold the tension. Make sure you use proper weight without using too much moment or turning into chest "press" exercise. The key here is really focusing on squeezing your chest muscles togethe through the full range of motion.

This is an 5-exercise circuit training based on squat plus other movement that will engage your quads, thighs, hamstrings, glutes, core and abs, and keep your heart pounding to melt away unwanted fat.
Start with no weight or light weights on hand. Do 10 repetitons in each exercise. Increase repetitions, speed or weight as you progress.

3. Sweet treat is not so sweet. Your husband may want to impress you with a gift and a sweet treat. It’s a sweet gesture but not so sweet to your weight. Have a little bite. Ask for a foot massage next time.
4. Doing by showing not nagging. Nobody likes nagging and being nagged at. Instead of nagging him for being 30-pounds overweight and making him feel guilty, start buying and preparing healthy foods and snacks for him. You don’t have to say a word.

For millions of frustrated Americans trying to lose weight, reduce body fat and get in shape, summer time could be worst season to hide their poor body shape.
"Unfortunately, you don’t really “burn” or “lose” the fat cells. But you can “shrink” the fat cells," says Carey Yang, a fat loss expert and celebrity personal trainer in Morris County, NJ.

The bad news is that fat cells can increase both in size (hypertrophy) and in number (hyperplasia). But you as a human being can only increase muscle (fiber) size, but not number. That’s a disadvantage!
"When you “lose” body fat, the fat cells don’t go anywhere. The fat cells stays right where they were before, under the skin and on top of the your muscles. In fact you just “empty out” or “shrink” the fat cells," Yang says.
Fat is stored inside the fat cells. The fat is not burned right there in the fat cells, it must be liberated from the fat cells through somewhat complex hormonal and biochemical pathways. Fat cell releases its contents (triaglycerol) into the bloodstream as free fatty acids. They are then transported through the blood to the tissues where the energy is needed.
Yang adds, "an infant usually has about 5 to 6 billion fat cells. This number increases during early childhood and puberty, and a healthy adult with normal body composition has about 25 to 30 billion fat cells."
Now here’s the ugly part. A typical overweight adult has around 75 billion fat cells. In the case of severe obesity, this number can be as high as 250 to 300 billion!
The average size (weight) of an adult fat cell is about 0.6 micrograms, ranging from 0.2 micograms to 0.9 micrograms. An overweight person’s fat cells can be up to three times larger than a person with ideal body composition.
"Sounds depressing!? What can you do to shrink those fat cells?" Yang says. "Learn the following take-home fat lessons:"
1. Calories count! The signal that triggers your body to release adipose from fat cells is an energy deficit… you have to burn more than you eat.
2. Cut calories conservatively. Starving yourself may cause quick weightloss at first, but never works long term because it actually decreases the activity of fat burning enzymes that release fat from the cells. to avoid this “starvation mode” use exercise to burn the fat, not very low calorie crash diets.
3. Get control of your weight now. If you are gaining weight, and especially if your weight is climbing upwards out of control, make a decision to stop right now. Your fat cells might be multiplying, making it more difficult to get lean in the future. now is the time!
4. If you’ve already lost weight, you must be forever diligent. Your fat cells are not gone, they have merely “shrunk” or “emptied out.” Fitness is not a 12 week program, its a lifestyle.
5. To stay lean you have to eat clean and stay active.
Genetics are only a minor factor. You may not have control over how many fat cells you were born with, but you do control the major factors that determine how much fat you store: lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, mental attitude.
